Contract Analyst I

• Prepare, verify, and carry out invoicing via electronic processing and reporting activities for an assigned portfolio of accounts • Contribute to contract management activities, taking responsibility for deliverables and working collaboratively • Balance and maintain client relationships • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies • Keep abreast of contract progression concerning invoicing units • Interact closely with the Revenue team to ensure timely billing and investigate discrepancies on assigned clients • Negotiate directly with assigned sites on all site related contracting items including clinical trial agreements, budgets, payment terms, ancillary agreements and amendments • Partner with internal Study Startup team, CROs, Clinical Operations teams, and TAU partners to improve overall SB&C metrics and deliver processes • Ensure standards are applied to the SB&C processes across projects • Leverage leading industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with parameters and fair market value guidance • Promptly recognize and improve potential delays and escalate to appropriate team members • Track all actions and negotiations to ensure timelines are achieved for studies and sites assigned • Support resolving escalated issues identified by the site activation sub-team in partnership with the internal Study Startup team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 or more years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting within a pharmaceutical company, CRO or relevant industry vendor
- Prior experience in contract analysis, finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced English level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)

Role Description - Manage on-demand and scheduled maintenance service requests for national clients. - Coordinate service providers, technicians, property managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of service issues. - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, notes, and updates across multiple software platforms. - Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining service quality, responsiveness, and accuracy. - Effectively manage complex scopes of work, escalated service requests, and challenging maintenance situations. - Review labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure pricing accuracy and reasonableness. - Negotiate vendor pricing while maintaining strong vendor relationships. - Research material costs and procure parts when appropriate. - Balance client expectations with profitability objectives by maintaining appropriate margins. - Obtain multiple vendor quotes when required and evaluate pricing and scope to ensure the best value. - Provide proactive and professional communication to clients via email, phone, and customer portals. - Maintain accurate schedules, status updates, and service documentation. - Escalate service issues, delays, cost increases, and other concerns as appropriate. - Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and solution-oriented service. - Prepare professional proposals for project work and service requests that exceed routine maintenance scope. - Develop clear scopes of work using appropriate industry terminology. - Price projects appropriately to maintain profitability while remaining competitive. - Submit proposals requiring management approval prior to client presentation. - Manage approved projects through completion, ensuring all required documentation and deliverables are obtained.
