Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Reports to: Executive Director Location: 100% onsite in Brighton, MA Schedule: This is a part-time, fully benefits eligible W2 position. Clinical hours are ideally Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 2:00 EST, with one hour of rounds and one hour of direct supervision with the psychiatrist each week. Hours are expected to increase as census continues to grow. Role Summary: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support to individuals enrolled in our PHP and IOP programs. You will collaborate with other clinicians, including psychiatrists, therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.  Role Responsibilities: - Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP/IOP programs.  - - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.  - - Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.  - - Provide ongoing medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed.  - - Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care for patients.  - - Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, particularly in a PHP/IOP setting.  - - Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning discussions.  - - Document all patient interactions and treatment in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.  - - Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.  - - Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychiatric services.  - - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and advancements in psychiatric care.  -   Required Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.  - - Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant. - - Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. - Minimum one year of experience prescribing medication. - - Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, psychiatric medications, and treatment modalities.  - - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.  - - Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.  - - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  - - Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.  - - Ability to manage complex cases and respond effectively to crisis situations.  - - A winning mentality!  - Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a behavioral health setting, including PHP and/or IOP. - Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Reports to: Executive Director Location: 100% remote, candidates must live in and be licensed in MA.
