Job Description

VP, Account Management

HarmonyCares

• Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for HarmonyCares' Medicare Advantage plan partners • Build trusted, durable relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations, including medical directors, network executives, and value-based care leaders • Proactively identify client needs, surface opportunities for deeper collaboration, and address issues before they escalate • Translate client needs into HarmonyCares’ actions and proactively solve problems in client service both withing account management team and collaborating with other HarmonyCares functions and team • Lead regular business reviews, reporting on performance metrics, clinical outcomes, and partnership value • Oversee the end-to-end implementation process for new client launches in new and existing markets • Partner cross-functionally with clinical operations, data/analytics, and market teams to ensure launches are executed on time and to contract specifications • Develop and refine implementation playbooks to drive consistency and efficiency across engagements • Proactively identify issues in implementation process and solve problems to keep implementations on track and enhance client experience • Manage and develop a team of account management professionals • Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and create a culture of accountability and excellence • Build team capacity to scale with organizational growth • Translate client feedback and market intelligence into actionable insights for internal strategy and product development • Work with claims and other health care data to track performance, demonstrate value, and identify opportunities for improvement • Support contract renewals and new business development activity in partnership with the SVP and business development team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or another related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in health care, with meaningful exposure to Medicare Advantage plans, and value-based care providers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships at a senior level
  • Strong client-service orientation with a track record of building trust and delivering results for partners
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work with claims data, utilization reports, and other health care data to inform decision-making and communicate performance
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives
  • Ability to work with Medicare Advantage plans, including familiarity with plan operations, network management, or member engagement preferred
  • Knowledge of delegated risk arrangements, including understanding of risk contracts, shared savings models, or similar value-based structures preferred
  • Familiarity with Medicare program design, CMS regulations, or ACO/value-based care program structures preferred
