Role Description You will: - Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software systems, tooling, and infrastructure to support real-world event and incident response. - Build and evolve mission-critical tools and systems that allow Waymo to scale and serve new markets. - Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs grow and evolve. - Ship solutions to novel problems that arise in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. - 4+ years of experience in backend development. - Experience with backend coding languages: C++, Python, and/or Java. - Experience with design for distributed systems. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. Requirements - Professional experience developing modern C++ production software. - Familiarity with Google infrastructure (e.g. Borg, Protocol Buffers, Spanner). - Experience with engineering artifacts, reliability monitoring and alerting, documentation, integration testing, production hygiene, and support processes. - Experience working in cross functional environments that include non-technical stakeholders. Salary Range The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is: $204,000 — $259,000 USD

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of development efforts, including technical requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing, and delivery. • Lead and manage engineering teams delivering both core platform and custom development initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with business needs. • Drive execution and technical direction across complex engineering projects, including initiatives involving system improvements or modernization efforts. • Deliver high-quality software solutions that improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency. • Foster and champion agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban), leading, guiding, and coaching teams. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, as well as external partners, to ensure alignment with delivery goals and commitments. • Build and lead high-performing teams by driving hiring, performance management, and career development. • Partner with leadership to align engineering efforts with strategic priorities and organizational goals. • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, scalable processes, and a culture of accountability, quality, and transparency. • Contribute to engineering strategy by promoting best practices and aligning with industry standards and scalable development principles.

• Administer and continuously optimize Salesforce — owning user management, custom objects, flows, validation rules, permission sets, and reporting dashboards to ensure it operates as a reliable single source of truth • Own the GTM tool stack end-to-end: maintain a live inventory of all tools, manage vendor relationships, track contract renewal timelines, and provide data-driven recommendations on consolidation, expansion, or replacement • Design and deploy new tool workflows and cross-system integrations that eliminate manual handoffs and increase velocity across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success • Champion an AI-first approach to GTM operations — proactively identifying opportunities to leverage LLMs, automation agents, and intelligent enrichment pipelines to reduce manual effort and surface actionable signal for revenue teams • Build and maintain integrations across the GTM stack (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong, Spiff, Omni) via APIs, MCPs, native connectors, or iPaaS platforms to create a high-fidelity, connected data ecosystem • Document system configurations, workflow logic, and integration architecture to ensure operational continuity and enable self-service for end users and business stakeholders and also enable AI automations and agents. Document first and use that context layer to build. • Partner with RevOps leadership and GTM stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, proactively flagging risks and surfacing opportunities before they become problems • You’ll report directly to the Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with senior team members and cross-functional GTM leaders.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enhancements to an existing study management system. • Collaborate with study leadership, project managers, data managers, and end users to gather requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions. • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that track participant progress through study milestones, recruitment pipelines, retention activities, and follow-up schedules. • Create automated workflows, notifications, and monitoring tools to improve study operations and participant management. • Design and implement database enhancements to improve data quality, performance, and reporting capabilities. • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. • Develop and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) and system integrations with research platforms, data collection systems, and reporting tools. • Participate in software testing, validation, and user acceptance testing activities. • Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user guides, and change management documentation. • Support implementation of security, privacy, and regulatory requirements applicable to research data systems. • Recommend system improvements, modernization opportunities, and scalable solutions to support future study growth.
