Role Description We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer driven by an eagerness to learn and a deep curiosity to solve complex problems. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of infrastructure projects, encompassing the entire infrastructure posture and ensuring a secure, reliable, and compliance-focused environment. A core part of your mission will be to mentor and guide other engineers while leveraging your expertise to identify risks, communicate technical decisions, and relentlessly pursue improvements to our production infrastructure. What You’ll Do - Participate in all stages of managing production infrastructure: system design and engineering, issue writing/breakdown, produce terraform configuration, review changes and deployments. - Mentor and guide other engineers through pairing, review, and active teaching to reach alignment. - Own the quality of your work. Deliberate and extensive system design and discussion with the team to ensure your approach and solution fits into the larger team vision and work. - Work across the engineering organization to identify and coordinate on solutions to improve the function of the DebtBook application and infrastructure. Qualifications - Expertise and proficiency with Terraform or similar “infra as code” tooling. - Deep understanding of standard AWS features and offerings. - Significant experience with Unix-like operating systems. - Experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases. - Good written communication and teaching skills. - Proficiency in Golang or Ruby is a significant plus. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer III to support a large-scale cloud modernization initiative. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while supporting automation, compliance, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
