Role Description We are seeking a Head of AI Engineering to spearhead NCT’s transition into an AI-first platform. What You Will Own - AI-First Modernization (Hands-On): Personally design and build NCT's foundational AI capabilities (RAG systems, code generation, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent workflows). - Platform Modernization: Pragmatically refactor legacy components into scalable, cloud-native services and replace manual workflows with AI-driven automation. - Phased Engineering Leadership: Manage team execution, elevate talent density, set engineering rhythms, and mentor developers into an AI-native way of working. - Safe, Compliant Execution: Safely deploy features while strictly operating within government-adjacent and public-sector compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CJIS). - Banyan Ecosystem Partnership: Act as the core technical partner to the CEO while collaborating with Banyan's centralized AI initiatives. Qualifications - 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with a proven track record of modernizing complex architectures. - Documented history of shipping functional AI/ML systems end-to-end to real users. - Experience as a founding or first AI engineer who is comfortable delivering baseline architecture independently. - Exceptional judgment regarding build-vs-buy decisions. - Proven track record of managing engineering teams and a desire to develop technical talent. - Possess strong commercial acumen and an exploratory mindset. Requirements - Must be US-based and fully eligible for government-adjacent/public-sector compliance work. Nice-to-Haves - Direct GovTech, public sector, or federal case management software experience. - Familiarity with the Microsoft AI stack (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI integrations). - Experience managing, coordinating, or collaborating with distributed/offshore engineering teams. Role Description The Registered Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist will work remotely to provide Continuous Long-Term Monitoring. This role is responsible for conducting and managing long-term neurodiagnostic monitoring, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and accurate data interpretation. - Conduct remote long-term neurodiagnostic monitoring, adhering to established protocols and standards. - Establish and prepare medical record documentation in accordance with hospital and SpecialtyCare policy. - Conduct periodic trending analysis and/or data review per facility policy and procedures. - Transfer data between local and network drives for data review and permanent storage when necessary. - Provide physicians and other clinical staff members with periodic updates, data summaries and assist as requested regarding EEG and the patient’s clinical condition per facility policy and procedures. - Report critical test results to the neuro critical care physician, nursing staff, and/or supervisor and document this communication according to facility and SpecialtyCare policy and procedures. - Monitor (shift) report summarizing number of events, types of events, precautions necessary, additional procedures ordered and any other relevant information which is available for review by staff caring for the patient. - Read, understand, and implement all policies and procedure guidelines. - Ensure the integrity and maintenance of remote monitoring equipment and software. Requirements - High level of communication and documentation required for patient care. - Understands computer operations and networking, when applicable, sufficient to do basic troubleshooting/report to information technology support services. - Ability to work quickly and proficiently under stressful conditions. - Knowledgeable of the rationale and indications for ordering EEG studies in a hospital ICU setting. - Competence in deciphering artifacts from cortical activity. - Works well in a team environment. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Ability to clearly speak, write and understand English. - Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. - Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in routine and/or emergency situations.
