Role Description Q2IMPACT is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to lead growth across its DoW portfolio. This is a senior, externally focused role responsible for originating, shaping, and winning new work—while building a durable pipeline and expanding Q2IMPACT’s position with key mission buyers. The role is best suited for an entrepreneurial leader who can operate across the full BD lifecycle: - Identifying opportunities - Leveraging relationships to shape demand - Structuring capture strategies - Driving winning proposals The successful candidate will bring deep relationships within DoW—particularly the Combatant Commands (COCOMs)—and understand how to translate those relationships into qualified pipeline and awards. This individual will also help position Q2IMPACT in emerging acquisition pathways, including OTAs and other flexible financing mechanisms, and support growth initiatives tied to innovation investments. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in federal business development, capture management, or growth leadership within DoW or national security markets. - Demonstrated track record of winning work and growing portfolios. - Deep understanding of pre-RFP shaping, capture strategy, teaming, proposal support, and federal acquisition processes. - Experience identifying, leveraging, or pursuing IDIQs, GWACs, and other contract vehicles. - Existing relationships within government, such as DSCA, COCOM J-codes, SCOs, Service components, or adjacent defense stakeholders. - Established network across industry, including primes, subcontractors, and vehicle holders relevant to DoW services work. - Experience leading technical and cost proposal development. - Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits without close day-to-day oversight. - Ability to lead and execute in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment. Requirements - Experience in security cooperation, AM&E, knowledge management, staffing support, or institutional support services. - Experience supporting or pursuing work with DSCA and/or COCOMs. - Experience with OTAs, SBIR/STTR, or other alternative acquisition pathways. - Experience in small to mid-sized federal contracting environments. - Active Secret clearance.
