Your Opportunity to Grow With Us as a Financial Data Analyst: - Play an integral role in creating and analyzing profit and loss statements for our branches. - Partner with operations to facilitate deeper understanding of their earnings. - Analyze monthly branch financials and identify potential challenges and opportunities for increasing profitability. - Develop new processes with financial data including but not limited to forecasting, trend analysis, and other reporting. - Design new dashboards to empower our branches with improved financial insights. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience focused on data analysis. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field. - Corporate finance exposure preferred: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a keen understanding of financial statements and financial data. - Advanced SQL experience required (CTEs, joins, subqueries, etc.). - Expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. - Knowledge of an analytical language like Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc. preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data. Role Description This position is on the Content Insights team which is part of the Global Digital Business team. The role reports to the Senior Manager of the Content Insights team which is responsible for providing market insights and a detailed view of the competitive landscape for the music industry. This role works closely with the Strategy team in delivering impactful market insights. You will be responsible for deploying and structuring local market analyses using a standardized framework, modeling data, and delivering clear, high-impact analyses and presentations for top management. The role requires both strong technical capabilities to maintain and enrich data models, and the ability to think critically, read between the lines, and propose innovative, efficiency-driven solutions that reflect the market. Key Responsibilities - Support strategic teams and coordinate synthetic insights for Strategy, M&A, and Corporate stakeholders. - Synthesize market trends, assess competitive landscape, identify caveats, flag key drivers to guide clearly business strategy into the group. - Conduct ad hoc analyses to influence internal stakeholders and market positioning. - Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI), with a strong focus on clarity and usability. - Maintain and enhance data models, products, and localized market analyses. - Ensure high-quality, up-to-date data and reporting. - Collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to maintain and improve data infrastructure. - Simplify complex datasets, rapidly identify key issues, and highlight critical signals (“the devil is in the details”).
