Role Description We're seeking a Fintech Engineering Lead who has directly leverable B2C banking, stablecoin, or payments experience. This is a critically important role on our team. You’ll be working with the technical founders to set standards that conform with industry engineering best practices and building a highly performant, reliable, and secure app from the ground up. Our stack: - Python (FastAPI) monolith supported by Postgres and Redis on AWS. - Open to Rust and/or Go for any services that need to be broken out for performance. Backend serves a REST API that powers our iOS, Android, and Web frontends. We are integrating with cryptocurrency wallet and banking service providers, among other services for auth, ledger, payment rails, etc. This is a financial services application with significant complexity handling real money at scale, internationally. Qualifications - 5+ years building and shipping fintech software with deep expertise in at least one of the following systems: ledgering, payments processing, stablecoin infra, risk/fraud management. - Experience generally across the backend: working with Postgres, Redis, AWS, etc. - Full-stack engineering skillset, with ability to flex across other parts of the stack. • Design and manage Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint environments • Drive device management, security policies, and automation • Lead endpoint strategy (Autopilot, lifecycle, compliance) • Troubleshoot complex issues and improve global IT services • Work cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Cloud teams

• Own the agent layer of the platform — architecture, prompts, tool surfaces, multi-agent orchestration, and the eval loop. • Set the technical ceiling for the platform’s core capabilities: translation accuracy, dependency-map correctness, hallucination control. • Drive translation and dependency-mapping accuracy across an unfamiliar legacy paradigm — call graphs, data references, semantic equivalence checks. • Take on capability bets that don’t show up on most roadmaps yet — agent work at the frontier of code understanding. • Drive the prompt-and-eval iteration cycle in partnership with the RAG & Eval Engineer. • Write production agent code daily; subagents and multi-agent workflows are your normal way of working. • Establish foundations the rest of the team builds against — agent architecture, eval loop, prompt-and-tool patterns, multi-agent topology.
