Role Description This role oversees the coordination and movement of fixtures, equipment, materials, and supplies to project sites to ensure execution aligns with project timelines, budget expectations, and operational goals. The position provides both tactical and strategic support in transportation planning, vendor management, performance tracking, and issue resolution. The Manager works cross-functionally with Store Development, Construction, Procurement, Distribution Centers, and external logistics partners to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service levels. This individual will play a key role in developing transportation metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do: - Operational Compliance: Follow all company standard operating procedures to maintain work integrity, safety, and optimal production output. - Safety and Regulatory Adherence: Comply with all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules and regulations, including proper attire, and promptly report actual or potential safety concerns. - Training and Support: Train floor associates on department-preferred methods and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. - Team and Leadership Responsiveness: Proactively follow direction from Shift Coordinators, management, and cross-functional partners while supporting a collaborative work environment. - Flexibility and Scheduling: Maintain a flexible schedule and work assigned shifts and overtime as required by business needs, including Put, Pack, Pick, and PND functions. - Customer Service and Administrative Support: Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, conduct research, perform administrative tasks, and submit WMS tickets to resolve system issues. - Inventory and Material Handling: Put away, scan, and accurately place items from PND to pick locations to support inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency. - Lead and Develop: Provide clear direction, priorities, and expectations aligned with business goals. Lead day-to-day team operations, ensuring work is executed efficiently. Provide ongoing coaching and real-time feedback. Qualifications - Experience with WMS or similar systems, ability to learn new tools quickly, and working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. - Uses basic math skills and maintains a strong focus on accuracy and quality. - Effectively solves problems, identifies business needs, and takes proactive action. - Works independently with minimal supervision, manages multiple priorities, and adapts well to change. - Communicates clearly, tactfully, and professionally—both verbally and in writing—with associates, vendors, and leaders. - Delivers excellent customer service, collaborates effectively with others, and contributes to a positive team environment. - Gives and receives feedback constructively to support continuous improvement. - Understands how other business functions relate to the role and is trained across operational job functions. - Maintains an enthusiastic, professional, and positive demeanor.
