• The Designer UI/UX is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered experiences for complex software applications. • This role combines user research, interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices to create solutions that are both functional and accessible. • The Designer UI/UX works closely with project leadership, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, translate requirements into effective designs, and ensure successful implementation of user-centered solutions. • This position plays a key role in improving usability, increasing user adoption, and enhancing overall product effectiveness. • Conduct user research activities including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, usability testing, and feedback collection. • Translate business, technical, and user requirements into intuitive user experiences and interface designs. • Create design artifacts including user journeys, process flows, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and user interface specifications. • Design user experiences for desktop applications, web applications, and data-driven systems. • Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and reviews as part of an Agile development process. • Conduct usability evaluations and recommend design improvements based on user feedback and observed behavior. • Establish and maintain design standards, patterns, and reusable interface components. • Support accessibility and usability best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. • Present design concepts and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Own the SharePoint experience, including intranet, hub sites, navigation, and page design • Serve as the experience and usability authority for SharePoint across the organization • Define experience standards, design patterns, templates, and guidance • Establish and maintain governance for site structure, content quality, and lifecycle • Design and optimize SharePoint pages and sites using UX, content design, and information architecture best practices • Act as a trusted advisor to Internal Communications on campaign, storytelling, and content use cases • Lead adoption efforts through guidance, education, and advocacy—not direct authority • Analyze usage data, search insights, and user feedback

• Own the UX for a product area or surface, shipping high-impact designs that unlock significant customer and business value • Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution • Work directly with customers to understand their needs, validate designs, and inform strategy • Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to Samsara's internal design team • Deliver all agreed-upon project deliverables on time and to spec

• Define the overarching UX vision and UI design language for our omnichannel ecosystem. • Architect sophisticated, user-facing analytics tools. • Lead the design strategy for AI-driven features. • Oversee and evolve a scalable Design System. • Serve as the bridge between Product, Engineering, and Stakeholders. • Direct usability testing and competitive analysis.
