Role Description As a Care Coordinator, you sit at the critical intersection of financial navigation and patient motivation. You're the bridge between a patient's first question about cost and their confirmed seat in the treatment chair. - Work with patients at two key moments in their journey: - When scheduling their initial evaluation and ultrasound. - After their evaluation is complete, walking them through personalized treatment estimates and answering insurance and cost questions. - Understand that a patient who understands their coverage and feels confident in their care team is more likely to show up for their procedures. - Background in healthcare billing or financial navigation is preferred. - Priority will be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English. Qualifications - Experience in a medical office, healthcare contact center, or billing department. - Ability to navigate insurance conversations effectively. - Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish (a plus). - Ability to listen, reframe, and guide patients without being pushy. - Natural follow-through person; ensures patients do not fall off the radar. - Thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Requirements - Base Pay: $25/hour - On-Target Earnings (OTE): $55,000–$70,000 annually (base + performance incentives) - Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday 11 A.M. - 7:30 P.M. EST Your Day-to-Day - Review patient pipeline each morning. - Handle a mix of inbound and outbound calls. - Update CRM and EMR records, process payments, and track authorization statuses. - Coordinate with clinic teams to ensure no tasks fall through the cracks. - Goal: Ensure every patient you interacted with is closer to receiving care. What Success Looks Like - Ablation Attendance Rate: Drive a high percentage of estimate-accepted patients to their scheduled procedure. - Conversion Rate: Move patients from estimate review to confirmed treatment commitment. - Operational Accuracy: 100% documentation of interactions in CRM/EMR; zero financial errors. - First-Contact Resolution: Resolve insurance and billing questions fully on the first call whenever possible. - Follow-Up Compliance: Complete all outbound follow-up touchpoints within SLA targets.
