Senior DevOps Engineer

Precision eControl

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and platform services in Azure; plan and execute migration patterns to AWS. • Own CI/CD and environment automation (build, test, deploy, release) to enable safe, repeatable delivery. • Implement and evolve observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) to improve reliability, performance, and incident response. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across cloud, networking, CI/CD, and platform services; contribute to on-call/incident practices. • Partner cross-functionally (application, data, platform) through sprint ceremonies to define standards and uplift delivery practices.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles supporting production systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and monitoring.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or demonstrated ability to design for multi-cloud portability and future migration.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform (ARM/Bicep or CloudFormation beneficial).
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for modern applications or data workflows.
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker; Kubernetes on AKS/EKS).
  • Experience implementing observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and contributing to incident response for distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to debug complex production issues across infrastructure, deployments, and application layers, and to collaborate across engineering, data, and security teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related discipline or combination of equivalent education and experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred. 5 - 7 years of experience in similar field.
