• Discovering Customer Requirements: Diagnose technical and business pain, confirming root causes and negative consequences. Engage key stakeholders to confirm desired future state, mapping it to success metrics and business outcomes. Support customer digital sales rooms, providing technical input and ensuring alignment between sales and technical teams. • Validating Solution Fit: Lead workshops, trials, or POCs to validate solution fit with business objectives. Position competitive advantages to influence trial success criteria. Guide customer teams to integrate our solutions into their data stacks during trials while driving measurable business outcomes. Support technical aspects of credit sizing estimates. • Customer Onboarding and Growth: Actively support customer cadences and business review meetings ensuring platform adoption, achievement of business goals, and driving customer engagement. Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and expansion, ensuring customers realise value by increasing platform consumption through new workloads and groups. Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with customers through cadences to set up technical infrastructure, rapidly achieve first value, and create long term customer engagement. Monitor adoption dashboards for key success indicators, proactively driving consumption upward, and ensuring the timely resolution of issues. • Marketing and Thought Leadership: Create technical content and case studies that demonstrate how Matillion’s solutions address customer challenges. Represent Matillion as a technical expert at industry events, conferences, and user groups, fostering a strong brand presence. • Product Feedback & Improvement: Collect and communicate customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams, ensuring continuous product improvements and alignment with market needs. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data integration, cloud computing, and data transformation, sharing insights with both customers and internal teams.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years working with Enterprise customers in a technical role, such as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- In-depth understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with technical problem-solving and integration technologies (APIs, Linux, SQL).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
