Business Development Coordinator – Telemarketer

• Make outbound calls to customers and potential clients using a script provided by the company • Identify potential clients and tailor your approach to meet their needs and preferences. • Handle objections and rejections effectively, professionally, and positively • Introduce the company, explain its services to the potential client positively, and be enthusiastic about saving for post-secondary • Qualify the potential client to ensure they are a good fit for the services offered by the company • Schedule appointments with qualified potential clients based on their availability and the availability of the sales team • Confirm appointments with potential clients and provide them with any necessary information about the company or the appointment • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and appointments scheduled using the company's CRM and other tools • Meet daily or weekly appointment booking targets set by the company

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Excellent communication skills, with a persuasive and confident manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet daily or weekly appointment booking targets
  • Experience using CRM platforms and other sales tools

Role Description CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development & Distribution Director. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving profitable growth through the development and expansion of commercial insurance distribution channels across a multi-state territory. The Director actively identifies, cultivates, and secures new business opportunities by establishing and strengthening agency partnerships while expanding market presence. Working collaboratively with underwriting and other key stakeholders, this position leads the planning and execution of growth initiatives, gathers and prioritizes customer and market requirements, and ensures revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. - Establish strategic business development initiatives - Ensure compliance with all business initiatives - Present business opportunities and business cases to the senior leadership team as required - Identify, generate, and close sales and new business opportunities - Contribute to new product development - Contribute to the execution of the marketing strategy and business development plans - Provide leadership and training on new lines of business and services to management and staff - Screen potential business deals by analyzing the market - Coordinate, prepare, and present proposals and business plans that target newly recognized business opportunities - Participate in internal and external business events, road shows, and seminars as required by management - Leads Agency engagement activities;
