CNC Field Service Technician – Remote Work

• Traveling to customer sites to install, fix, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for customer’s organizations • Using on-line technical documents, manuals and vendor resources to research machine issues • Ensuring accurate documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation • Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and training • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company • Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is part of the on-boarding process, with factory certification within the first year
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired
- CNC Repair background a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required
- Software experience, like Microsoft office, is a plus
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are a must
- The CNC Technician must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, regularly lifting 40-50 pounds
- This position requires flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory

Role Description MMT is growing its commercial and industrial presence in the grinding and abrasives market — and we’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to help lead that charge. This is a strategic, high-impact role where you’ll open new doors, build lasting customer relationships, and bring MMT’s precision grinding solutions to manufacturers who depend on quality and performance. You’ll work closely with our teams in Burbank, Pennsauken, and Ramsey to deliver solutions across the guidewire and abrasives product lines — with the full backing of MMT’s engineering and applications expertise behind you. What You’ll Do - Drive new business development across commercial and industrial markets for grinding equipment, guidewires, and abrasives. - Build and grow a portfolio of accounts by developing trusted relationships with engineers, plant managers, and procurement leaders. - Evaluate customer processes and recommend MMT solutions that solve real manufacturing challenges. - Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations at customer sites, trade shows, and MMT facilities. - Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and quoting through negotiation and close. - Maintain a strong, well-qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting. - Collaborate with MMT’s applications, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer success. - Represent MMT at industry events and trade shows to build brand presence in the commercial/industrial segment. - Travel extensively across the United States to visit customers, prospects, and industry events.
