Job Description

Building Performance and Energy Consultant

CRB

• Develop and run detailed building energy models using tools such as IES VE, EnergyPlus, or OpenStudio to evaluate energy, carbon, and thermal performance. • Translate modeling results into actionable design recommendations and collaborate with architects and engineers to implement energy efficiency and carbon reduction strategies. • Review architectural and MEP design documents to ensure integration of energy performance measures and compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 189.1). • Prepare and contribute to LEED and other green building certification documentation, including energy simulation reports and sustainability narratives. • Support sustainability workshops, design charrettes, and client meetings by presenting analysis findings and assisting in setting performance targets (e.g., EUI, carbon intensity). • Contribute to long-term sustainability planning and decarbonization roadmaps for clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Science with a strong focus on building systems.
  • 3–6 years of experience in sustainability consulting, building performance, or energy modeling.
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software such as IES VE, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with green building frameworks and certification processes, including LEED.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, building envelope, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

This role allows flexibility in scheduling while maintaining a high standard of client care. - Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans that align with the client’s needs. - Provide patient-centered psychiatric care that includes medication management and emotional support. - Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, prescriptions, and lab results using Meridian’s EHR system. - Participate in optional consultations and professional development opportunities with the Meridian clinical team. - Coordinate care with therapists, staff, and leadership to ensure integrated treatment. - Engage in timely and professional communication with patients and team members. - Manage a self-directed weekly schedule that offers flexibility to both the practitioner and clients. - Position is available full-time or part-time, as employee or contractor. - Meridian Counseling handles all billing, credentialing, and client acquisition. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Nursing and certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). - Must have an active and unrestricted license in California. 103 NP classification is required. - Active DEA registration; Buprenorphine Waiver (preferred). - Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric medication management preferred. - Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. - Knowledge of psychiatric medications, their risks, benefits, and expected outcomes. - Ability to educate patients on treatment plans and medication usage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain a professional tone and demeanor in meetings, sessions, and documentation. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms. - Commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and professional growth.
