YOUR ROLE We are hiring a Director to join our Planning and Business Leadership team in a full time temporary role through August (benefits eligible). As a champion of media planning and strategy, the Director, Media, is responsible for delivering a level of innovation and excellence in work. This requires an in-depth understanding of communications and media strategy, cross-channel planning, and the intricacies of online and offline media activation and campaign performance analysis. You have 6+ years of experience in an integrated cross-channel media planning role. You are passionate about consumer behavior, digital media, technology, and data. You have strong POVs, engaging in industry and agency thought leadership. ' This role is hybrid, and requires working onsite at our New York office, with flexibility to work from home - You can toggle between the strategic and executional sides, because knowing the technical allows you to craft a stronger strategy. - You are comfortable explaining media theories and technology to clients, partners, and internal teams. You take away the smoke and mirrors and are a teacher and mentor to your team. - You enjoy building relationships with clients, as well as new business prospects and partner agencies. - You have an entrepreneurial streak and are excited about building the agency with new tools, ideas, and opportunities. - You are looking for a place to learn, push and build something special, and want to do it in a collaborative environment. You should be comfortable in a casual environment where the structure is loose, and the only limitations are your own. REQUIREMENTS - 6 + years of experience in media planning. - Vertical experience in financial, banking, wealth management or related is highly desirable. - Providing strategic leadership based on an in-depth knowledge of each clients’ business - Advance media product delivered to clients, fueled by a holistic understanding of advertising and media. - Liaison between partner agencies, media partners, in-house client strategy/creative team - A thorough understanding of the media landscape and how it’s evolving - Team management, including managing and mentoring team members. Reviews, performance issues, timely reviews/feedback, active work distribution and fair rotations - Strong listening skills: believes good thinking can come from anyone and any place. - Participation in new business - A team player willing to compromise their point of view in support of others. This person WILL BE part of a highly successful integrated cross-discipline team Salary range $100k - $145. Commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant. Ideal is a NY based candidate. This role is benefits eligible.
