Senior Director of Pricing

Landing

• Own pricing and revenue optimization strategy for all homes, balancing occupancy, rate, and contribution profit • Enhance and scale our machine learning–driven pricing model • Develop and deploy dynamic pricing logic for lifecycle stages (launch vs. mature), stay lengths, and distribution channels • Build and maintain pricing and performance dashboards using Python, SQL, and Looker • Run elasticity tests, scenario modeling, and pacing analysis to guide decisions with a test-and-learn mindset • Integrate external data sources (AirDNA, CoStar) into pricing strategies • Partner with Marketing on channel mix and ROAS tradeoffs, ensuring OTA vs. direct pricing alignment • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence revenue and investment decisions

Job Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or data analytics (ideally in hospitality, travel, or other perishable-inventory industries)
  • Hands-on fluency with revenue management systems and multi-property pricing strategies
  • Experience building or managing algorithmic or ML-based pricing systems
  • Deep understanding of price elasticity, occupancy forecasting, and RevPAR optimization
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses for executives
  • High bias for action and comfort operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Nice to Have: Experience with OTA pricing or channel management (Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com)
  • Familiarity with CoStar or AirDNA datasets
  • Strong Python skills (pandas, statsmodels, etc.) for building revenue analytics and modeling
  • Ability to design and interpret statistical tests to balance revenue and conversion outcomes
  • Experience in high-growth startups or tech-enabled real estate
