Role Description As a Jack Westin MCAT Tutor, you will work directly with students as they prepare for the MCAT, delivering personalized student education grounded in our strategies. You will have access to our full curriculum library, CARS materials, and practice resources to support your students. - Lead one-on-one tutoring sessions with students - Diagnose student weaknesses and establish individualized approaches to address them - Build customized study plans aligned with student timelines and target scores - Tutor across all four MCAT sections, with strong emphasis on CARS reasoning and passage-based strategy in the sciences - Track progress, adjust pacing, and respond to student communication in a timely manner - Participate in occasional tutor development meetings to maintain quality Qualifications - MCAT score of 515+ (or 128+ for CARS Specialists); official score report required - Demonstrated tutoring, teaching, or instructional experience preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace - Minimum 5 hours/week availability Benefits - Starting pay of $40-$55/hr based on experience - Paid prep time for newly onboarded students - Ongoing tutor developmental support - Access to the full Jack Westin curriculum and tutor resources - Flexible, remote schedule that you can set yourself - Opportunity to grow into senior tutoring, content, or instructional roles - Be part of a mission-driven team helping students worldwide reach medical school Company Description

• Lead multiple online Supplemental Instruction sessions each week to create interactive student discussion on difficult course content (40%). • Create interactive activities appropriate for online sessions in order to engage students in the session and the course content rather than simply lecturing students (40%). • Integrate effective course-specific study and learning strategies to maximize students’ potential for academic progress (10%). • Participate in mandatory SI Leader Orientation, training sessions, and scheduled meetings as required by the Director of Tutoring Services (5%). • Complete SI-related administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Online Tutoring Services (5%).
