Training Systems Project Manager
AeroVironment
• The Warfighter Readiness Training Systems Project Manager (PM) oversees the execution of complex programs or multiple related programs for AV's line of weapon systems trainers. • The role is accountable for cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance. • The PM works collaboratively with the Product Line Manager to manage the program life-cycle, all activities necessary to meet program development requirements and business objectives. • Working with Product Line Managers (PLMs), the role provides leadership in the development of program planning, top-down requirements definition, and cost/schedule/scope estimating for weapon systems training programs. • Ensures customer alignment and manage internal and external overall customer satisfaction. • Identify, analyze, and manage all program-level risk. • Lead program meetings and program reviews with the customer and executive staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management or related fields.
- Have or in pursuit of PMP certification.
- Must be able to interface effectively with internal teams as well as government and commercial customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
