Position Overview Location: Remote in US or Canada with preference for EST time zone We are hiring a Senior Content Strategist to lead content strategy and website performance for Hexion. This role is responsible for strengthening our digital foundation ensuring the website, content ecosystem, brand messaging, and sales content support long-term growth and commercial objectives. You will work cross-functionally with business leaders, sales teams, and external partners to create high-impact content and maintain a high-performing, insight-driven digital presence. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited for someone who combines strong editorial judgment with digital performance expertise. Key Responsibilities - Enterprise Content Strategy: Develop and manage a structured, content roadmap aligned with brand positioning and long-term growth priorities. Ensure messaging consistency while enabling vertical-specific differentiation. - Growth-Oriented Content Creation: Partner with business units and sales to translate commercial priorities into compelling content across formats, including website pages, event materials, sales decks, brochures, and case studies. - Thought Leadership Development: Build unique and engaging authority-building assets that strengthen Hexion’s credibility and support downstream demand generation efforts. - Website Ownership & Governance: Own the content on Hexion’s website and overall performance in collaboration with the wider marketing team. Manage publishing workflows, UX coordination, content audits, and ongoing optimization. - SEO, AEO, & Organic Performance: Lead SEO/ AEO strategy across the website, including keyword planning, on-page optimization, and content structuring to improve organic visibility and search rankings. - Web Analytics & Insight Generation: Monitor website performance using GA4 and related tools. Develop dashboards and insights that inform content strategy, user experience improvements, and digital investment decisions. - Brand Stewardship & Digital Governance: Uphold Hexion’s overall brand standards across digital channels. Establish content guidelines, tone-of-voice frameworks, and digital governance processes. - Vendor Management: Own the relationship with the web design and development agency to ensure performance, quality, and alignment with brand standards. Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, digital strategy, or website management - Strong experience developing enterprise-level content strategies across multiple business units - Experience with using AI tool and building custom agents like Tone of Voice Agent, to accelerate work and automate manual tasks. - Proven ability to create high-impact case studies and thought leadership content - Experience managing and optimizing B2B websites at scale - Hands-on experience with: - CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Sitecore, or similar) - GA4 and website analytics tools - SEO/ AEO tools and best practices - Strong understanding of how content supports demand generation (without necessarily owning campaigns) - Proven ability to translate technical or industrial subject matter into clear, compelling messaging - Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing external vendors - Strong editorial judgment and brand stewardship capability - Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting digital performance data Other We are an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
