Role Description The Technical Systems Coordinator is responsible for providing support for technical issues and ensuring the performance of the company's operating plant and equipment. - Provide support for operational technical issues. - Assist with the enhancement of current maintenance and operation practices. - Identify opportunities for improvement in reliability of plant and extension of service/maintenance intervals through trials and process efficiencies. - Routinely produce reports for use by management. - Set up and review preventative maintenance tasks for all the company’s operating sites using the company’s Maintenance Management Systems. - Produce root cause analysis and failure analysis reports then assist with the implementation of preventative action recommendations. - Act as a technical consultant to all departments within the organization in the area of reliability and maintenance. Qualifications - Trade qualified with formal qualifications in engineering desirable. - An understanding of RNG & Power Plant process equipment is required. - Background with MMS systems and predictive maintenance. - Experience with process engineering or gas systems is highly desirable. - Working knowledge of PLC programming, Scada systems and related programs. Requirements - Ability to provide customer service in technical disciplines to suit organizational requirements. - Be familiar with development of deliverables for electrical, mechanical, process engineering and operations disciplines. - Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement in the company’s current operations. - Ability to understand and apply principles of rotating machinery such as compressors, engines, piping, valving, and other mechanical, electrical and controls equipment in the development of maintenance strategies. - Ability to develop and apply electrical/Controls guides and standards. - Computer literacy using MS Word, MS Excel and experience in the collection and processing of system data. - Knowledge of operations in both power generating plants and gas/chemical processes. - Understanding of important factors related design tools, processes and techniques. - Ability to participate in a multi-disciplined, multi-skilled work environment as a team player. - Ability to demonstrate effective time management, organizational skills and disciplined work habits. - Committed and motivated to achieving Company and team goals and objectives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - A focus on exceeding customer expectations. Role Description The Technical Specialist – Cost Engineering role focuses on establishing and managing a standardized suite of cost engineering services within project services. This position is part of the TAO (Technical and Administrative Operations) team and will provide remote support from locations such as Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, or Manila. • Lead the electrical engineering process for a wide variety of projects for industrial facilities • Collaborate with electrical designers and a multi-disciplinary team to prepare a detailed drawing package and engineering deliverables • Complete medium and low voltage electrical engineering calculations and documentation packages, plans, sections, and details for electrical design projects according to industry, client, and company standards • Appropriately apply and have extensive knowledge of relevant codes: NFPA 70, 70E, 30, 58, and 497, NEMA, API 500 & 540, IEEE and others as required • Coordinate project deliverables, deadlines, and speak to interdisciplinary needs for a given project among the engineering team • Develop and check one-line diagrams, conduit plans, grounding plans, area classification plans, control panel layout and bills of materials, lighting plans, P&ID's, PLC & DCS wiring diagrams and motor schematics • Confidently speak with clients and electrical utilities on new or upgraded service installations • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, process, and structural engineers to identify potential conflicts and/or efficiencies with the electrical design • Support business development opportunities and assist in marketing efforts (proposal preparation, scope, budget, etc.) • Perform contractor construction submittal reviews and request for information documents and general electrical design activities for industrial facilities • Coordinate with equipment vendors on behalf of clients to review and approve specifications • Continuously seek improvement for yourself and for the department • Travel within the United States 15% to 20% for site investigations, design reviews, and construction support
