• Manage day-to-day AWS operations, including EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, and VPC, ensuring reliability, scalability, and backups • Operate, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, supporting deployments and automating infrastructure tasks • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations, contributing to runbooks and operational playbooks • Monitor and optimize cloud usage, supporting cost-efficiency initiatives and reporting on savings opportunities • Operate and support MongoDB clusters, ensuring performance, backups, scaling, and integration with applications • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry • Apply security best practices, including IAM policies, patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA) • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient platform operations

• Partner with our cloud engineering and product teams to produce engaging high quality training courses and content for Datadog’s customer and partner curriculums • Collaborate with other team members to evaluate customer training requirements. Turn those requirements into a roadmap with clearly scoped courses and well defined learning paths • Create high quality courses that can be delivered both as self paced online programs or instructor-led training • Develop supplemental and supporting courseware and documentation, including workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars • Create, maintain, and improve the technical systems and environments used in hands-on labs (using the Instruqt hands-on lab platform) • Mentor existing staff in cloud engineering best practices, instructional design insights, and technical collaboration

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructures using Azure and AWS. • Develop and implement cloud strategies, architecture frameworks, and best practices. • Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources and services to ensure high availability and performance. • Implement and manage cloud security controls, compliance policies, and governance frameworks. • Develop and deploy automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or AWS CloudFormation. • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline application deployment. • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues and incidents promptly. • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. • Work closely with DevOps, development teams, and other stakeholders to support application deployment and infrastructure needs. • Provide expert guidance on cloud-related queries and issues. • Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and procedures. • Prepare and present reports on cloud performance, costs, and improvements. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers and contribute to their professional growth.

• Provide technical stability and anchoring for a team of data scientists, data engineers, and BI specialists. • Design and architect highly scalable and performant data solutions on GCP, leveraging services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, ensuring automated deployments to Cloud Run and other GCP services. • Implement robust data governance and security policies, adhering to OIC compliance standards. • Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code for consistent and repeatable deployments. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. • Oversee data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake design and implementation. • Champion the adoption of best practices in data engineering and data architecture. • Utilize GitHub for version control, code review, and collaborative development. • Work closely with BI specialists to create interactive dashboards and reports using Looker, Data Studio, and other BI tools. • Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
