AWS CloudOps Engineer

• Manage day-to-day AWS operations, including EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, and VPC, ensuring reliability, scalability, and backups • Operate, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, supporting deployments and automating infrastructure tasks • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations, contributing to runbooks and operational playbooks • Monitor and optimize cloud usage, supporting cost-efficiency initiatives and reporting on savings opportunities • Operate and support MongoDB clusters, ensuring performance, backups, scaling, and integration with applications • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry • Apply security best practices, including IAM policies, patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA) • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient platform operations
Job Requirements
- 3 years in CloudOps/ DevOps/ SRE roles supporting production systems
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Production MongoDB experience; PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS), cloud cost optimization, and FinOps practices is a plus
- Security and compliance requirements awareness (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) is a plus
- Operations-focused mindset with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to learn and take up more complex technical responsibilities
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
