Technical Analyst

• Act as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams • Translate business requirements into technical artifacts • Create clear technical designs • Write high-quality code • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across application and database layers • Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries • Develop server applications using programming languages • Provide leadership and coaching to junior engineers

Job Requirements

  • BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related field that includes programming coursework
  • 5+ years participating in client-facing requirement and solution design sessions
  • Strong Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain complex object-oriented applications using languages such as Java and C++
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data structures
  • Familiarity of standard software development methodologies and frameworks, including SDLC, OOD, and Agile/Scrum or RUP
