Associate Director, Digital Learning & Content
Orbis International
• Define and lead Cybersight’s global digital learning strategy ensuring alignment with Orbis’s organisational priorities and global eye health and capacity building goals. • Design and oversee an integrated, end-to-end learning ecosystem that connects courses, mentorship, clinical training, and knowledge resources. • Lead the evolution of towards scalable, personalised, and competency-based learning models across diverse global contexts. • Ensure integration of digital learning with platform capabilities, clinical programs, and country-level implementation. • Oversee the full Cybersight learning portfolio, ensuring alignment with global clinical priorities and emerging learning needs. • Establish and enforce organisation-wide standards for instructional design, content quality, and course lifecycle management. • Provide authoritative guidance on digital and medical education approaches, integrating best practices across multiple disciplines. • Engage and influence clinical experts, academic institutions and partners to co-develop high-impact learning content. • Lead the implementation of Cybersight’s CPD framework and global learning pathways. • Build and maintain partnerships with accreditation bodies and professional organisations to strengthen recognition and uptake. • Ensure alignment of learning with recognized workforce development needs and long-term professional competency frameworks. • Refine and lead global localization strategies to ensure equitable access across languages, regions and resource settings. • Address and ensure learning content is culturally relevant, accessible, and aligned with user and program needs in diverse LMIC contexts. • Define and implement frameworks for measuring learning impact. • Lead analysis of complex, multi-source data to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement – both of learning content and user experience. • Drive innovation in digital learning models, including piloting and scaling new approaches.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in education, public health, global health, or a related field
- 10 years’ experience leading in one or more of the following areas: Digital learning or education platforms, Medical or professional education, Large-scale training or capacity building programs
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience designing and scaling learning systems across multiple countries or institutions.
- Experience with professional development or CPD programs
- Experience working with clinical or health professional training; ophthalmology is a plus
- Experience working within global or LMIC health programs
