Role Description As a Counsellor, you will provide short-term, solution-focused therapy to our members within a stepped care model. You will work with diverse individuals across various age groups and cultural backgrounds, supporting them with mental health challenges through online counselling sessions. - Deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy to members within a stepped care model. - Conduct six online counselling sessions per day. - Work with members from diverse backgrounds, providing culturally safe and inclusive support. - Assist members in developing self-regulation strategies and achieving their mental health goals. - Consult with internal and external health and wellbeing providers to implement individualised care plans. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive case notes in compliance with best practice standards. - Engage in regular clinical supervision, training, and quality assurance activities to ensure high professional standards. Qualifications - A minimum Bachelor's degree in Counselling from Australia or New Zealand. - Valid registration with a professional body such as PACFA- Clinical, ACA - Level 3 or above. - Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in 1-2-1 therapy sessions with adults. - Demonstrated experience in evidence-based counselling. - Minimum of 400 hours of documented counselling instruction and 140 hours of delivered therapy. - Completion of a minimum of 40 hours of recorded therapy during course placement. - A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality care and evidence-based practice. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and escalate concerns when necessary. - Resilience and adaptability in managing complex situations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
