Job Description
Designer I
TEECOM
• prepare Revit models, update drawings, assist with reports and calculations • take meeting notes and support coordination activities • participate in structured training journeys • shadow senior consultants and gain hands-on exposure to Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines • maintain organized models, documentation, and markups • respond quickly to feedback and incorporate revisions effectively • participate in discipline, project, team, and group meetings
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field
- equivalent experience in design, drafting, or technology systems
- 0–2 years of experience in the AEC industry, design or technology systems
- exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools
- familiarity with construction documents or the building design process
- exposure to BIM coordination concepts (model linking, worksets, clash identification) is a plus
- familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is helpful but not required
- ability to learn new software, follow workflows, and apply feedback to improve accuracy and clarity of drawings and documentation
- strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to track tasks, take clear notes, and collaborate effectively
- foundational understanding of technology systems (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines) is a plus, but not required
- proficiency in standard software tools (Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, Slack); willingness to learn Autodesk tools, Asana, Bluebeam Studio, Callback One, and GitHub
