Role Description In our Data / AI Engineering team, you will be working closely with our best-in-class engineers, experienced in building ultra-modern products. You will be working with Cloud technologies, like AWS, Azure, and GCP, latest technology trends in Data and Machine Learning, e.g. Python, LLMs, Vertex AI, Data Lake(house), Vector DBs, dbt, Kubernetes, and many more. Tasks: - Design and develop complex solutions for Data-Intensive and AI Applications. - Develop and optimize EL(T) processing pipelines to create the foundations for analytical / machine learning workflows. - Be involved in all topics concerning data extraction, transformation, integration, and storage. - Use your software engineering expertise to provide clean, extensible, and scalable solutions. - Mentor the team to develop professionally. - You will work in cross-functional teams together with our client and stakeholders designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions. - Be comfortable sharing ideas and discussing different approaches in an environment where your opinion has a direct impact. - Work independently, using your conceptual and creative skills. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience working professionally with Python or other programming languages, and SQL. - 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or similar positions. - Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with Data Platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of Distributed Systems. - Motivated and fast learner. - Development experience with Agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. - Excellent English communication skills. You will join our Engineering team which works closely with our design, product management, data science, and clinical operations teams to create a digital product experience tailored to our Member’s needs. Our existing applications generally use: - Typescript - Node.js - PostgreSQL - dbt for our data transformation layer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) In addition to leveraging React and GraphQL for internal applications, our engineers integrate third party platforms and data sources via FHIR to provide a seamless experience for our care teams and clinical providers. Our engineers use tools like Cursor and Claude Code daily to accelerate development, write higher-quality code, refactor complex systems, and ship features faster.
