Associate Manager, Field Recruiting

• Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to a departmentalized team of recruiters, supporting clarity, organization, and consistent performance. • Conduct regular coaching conversations, shadowing sessions, and feedback reviews to support recruiter skill development. • Support onboarding and development of new recruiters, reinforcing best practices in sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and hiring execution. • Lead team rhythm through regular check-ins, pipeline reviews, and alignment meetings to maintain momentum and accountability. • Maintain a reduced requisition load, focusing on priority or escalated roles to remain connected to recruiting execution. • Support recruiters with pipeline strategy, sourcing approaches, and candidate engagement tactics. • Ensure strong candidate experience standards across all stages of the hiring process. • Oversee recruiter workload distribution and pipeline pacing across assigned markets. • Monitor hiring funnel health and identify early risks that could impact hiring timelines. • Ensure accurate documentation and ATS discipline within Ashby, reinforcing process consistency and data integrity. • Track recruiter performance and funnel metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. • Partner closely with field leadership and hiring managers to align on labor needs, market challenges, and hiring priorities. • Act as an escalation point for recruiter questions, candidate concerns, or stakeholder issues. • Collaborate with TA leadership, TA Operations, and Marketing to support sourcing strategies, job visibility, and recruiting process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- 4–6+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within high-volume or field recruiting environments
- Prior experience leading a team of recruiters or serving as a project/team lead
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to balance hands-on recruiting with team leadership
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Ashby preferred)
- Strong stakeholder partnership skills with hiring managers and field leadership
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within the assigned region
