• You will explore, implement, and leverage AI tools to automate testing workflows, generate smart test data, and minimize manual testing efforts. • You integrate automated checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure the App Squad gets lightning-fast feedback on every code change. • You focus on reducing flakiness by using modern, intelligent tooling, turning test results into real, actionable insights for the developers. • You work hand-in-hand with developers and the Teamlead within the App Squad to make quality an automated, frictionless part of the daily workflow.
Job Requirements
- Core Automation Expertise
- True Cross-Platform Experience: Proven track record of designing and maintaining automation frameworks across iOS, Android, and Backend environments.
- Mobile Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with native or cross-platform mobile testing tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or Detox.
- API & Backend Testing: Deep expertise in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, SuperTest, or similar programmatic libraries.
- Languages & Infrastructure Code Proficiency: Strong programming skills in at least one major language relevant to our stack (e.g., Java/Kotlin, Swift, Python, or TypeScript).
- CI/CD & Device Farms: Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Agile & Mindset: The "Shift-Left" Mentality: Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Mobile engineers during the design phase to define acceptance criteria (BDD/TDD approach).
- Quality Advocate: Ability to balance automated testing with strategic exploratory testing.
- Pragmatic Approach: Preference for smart, lightweight solutions over heavy, over-engineered testing frameworks.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills in English to collaborate easily within our agile squad.
