Sargent & Lundy
• Prepare or review calculations, evaluations, and technical reports • Conduct equipment sizing, optimization evaluation, and selection • Support clients and project teams with other Mechanical Engineers • Involved in system engineering, design, modification, and analysis • Interface with clients and project teams for presentations • Develop engineering proposals and cost estimates • Mentor junior engineering staff • Potential travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews
Job Requirements
- BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Knowledge of practical application of mechanical engineering
- Strong interest in numerical computations and problem solving
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear power plants
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MSME from an ABET accredited program with a strong academic background (valued but not required)
- PE License (valued but not required)
- Minor, certificate, or other experience in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering (valued but not required)
