Associate Director, Capture Management – Missions Solutions & Payloads
RTX
• Develop and lead new business captures within MSP • Build the teams and develop win strategies • Guide solutioning (technical and programmatic) • Lead gate reviews and ensure delivery of competitive bids • Engage with customers and industry partners • Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal organizations and stakeholders • Create and deliver presentations and white papers • Manage applicable resources, including staffing and new business funds • Support MSP Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) activities • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 12 years experience in the space industry in either technical or programmatic roles
- 3+ years as capture manager, proposal manager, cost/price strategist, or Chief Engineer within a capture team with USG (DoD, IC, Civil) customers pursuing contracts with values of at least $50M
- Experience leading teams in accomplishing project objectives within budget and schedule constraints
- Experience developing and delivering white papers, proposal elements, and executive-level briefings
- Experience with USG acquisition and planning/programming processes and interface with USSF, IC and or NASA/NOAA customers
