Role Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Presales Manager, P&C to join our growing team. In this player/coach role, you will serve as both a hands-on pre-sales practitioner and a people manager, leading a team of Presales Engineers (Solutions Consultants) while directly supporting strategic sales cycles within the Property & Casualty insurance market. You will be a critical voice in positioning our SaaS solutions to P&C carriers, MGAs, and other industry stakeholders, translating complex technical capabilities into compelling business value. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Presales / Solutions Consultants focused on the P&C vertical. - Establish best practices, demo standards, and repeatable presales methodologies across the team. - Manage workload distribution and align presales resources to pipeline priorities in partnership with Sales leadership. - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and support career development for direct reports. - Presales Execution - Serve as a senior presales resource on strategic and complex P&C opportunities, leading discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements. - Develop a deep understanding of P&C workflows, pain points, and industry trends to credibly engage with both business and technical stakeholders. - Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and drive opportunities through the sales cycle. - Deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations that clearly articulate the value and ROI of our solutions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as the voice of the customer and the field, providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams on market needs and competitive gaps. - Collaborate with Marketing on thought leadership content, event participation, and competitive positioning. - Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and a consistent customer experience from pre- to post-sale. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or a related customer-facing role within the insurance or InsurTech/SaaS space. - 5+ years of direct experience working within or selling into the Property & Casualty insurance market (ideally experience with core systems, policy administration, claims, or distribution platforms). - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, formally or informally. - Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite. - Proven track record of supporting complex, consultative SaaS sales cycles. - Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills. Desired but not required: - Knowledge or experience in digital advertising (e.g., OTT/CTV) is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is a plus. - Established network of agency and client contacts to support sales efforts.
