What we’re looking for… - Senior-level Entry Writer with 3-5 years of entry writing experience and familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations - Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry - Cargowise experience and knowledge is a plus About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner - Ensures that all entries are properly classified by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record - Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department - Develops and maintains customer profiles based on the customer’s shipment history - Coordinates with customers to classify new commodities per according to HTS - Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally Work Schedule New York Office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (Rotational overtime on Sundays) Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office Education & Experience - Associate's degree preferred - 3-5 years of entry writing experience Salary $65,000-$75,000 annually based on education and experience level Perks & Benefits of OEC Group: After successfully completing and passing a standard 90-day introductory period the employee is provided with the following benefits package. Role Description As part of the Growth Team, the Content and SEO Writer will be responsible for the regular production of content to scale our organic reach, delivered through engaging and optimised on brand content for use across our marketing channels. You will report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager. Key Responsibilities - Content Production: - Write high-quality, SEO-focused insight articles and other marketing content in line with briefs provided by the Senior Content Marketing Manager and/or SEO Manager. - Produce clear, engaging and well-structured content aligned to search intent and brand tone of voice. - Confidently understand course portfolio so that any references to our programmes are accurate, relevant and never misleading. - Ensure consistency in tone, style and messaging across all outputs. - Adapt writing style as required by brief, including ghost writing. - Manage multiple pieces of content in parallel to meet agreed deadlines. - Take and act on editorial feedback, iterating quickly to meet quality standards. - SEO Optimisation: - Apply on-page SEO best practice across relevant content. - Work within tools such as Surfer SEO or similar platforms to optimise content. - Refine and improve content based on performance insights and feedback from the SEO Manager. - Content Updates and Maintenance: - Support updates and improvements to existing SEO content. - Implement quick wins to improve search rankings and organic performance. - Ensure content remains accurate, relevant and aligned to current strategic priorities. - Editing and Quality: - Review and edit content produced by subject matter experts and other contributors, ensuring it meets the required standard for tone, clarity and SEO alignment before publication. Duties will include managing peer review, production, supplements, special projects, Editors, and the Editorial Board, including overseeing the relationship with a contracted editorial services provider. The Senior Managing Editor will partner with the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) to develop strategies and objectives to ensure the journal’s growth and development in a competitive marketplace and will ensure all scholarly publishing guidelines are followed. The Senior Managing Editor is a supervisory position that will oversee one or more lower-level assistant manager editors for an identified journal.
