Role Description The Helpful Smiles Technology Global Center (HST Global) in Bangalore is a division of the Hy-Vee IT team named as the Helpful Smiles Technology Center based in the US. It supports Hy-Vee’s business growth and modernization needs by accelerating the adoption of technology across enterprise operations. It offers tech talent the unique opportunity to transform retail technology at Hy-Vee and understand different markets and cultural dynamics, as well as the opportunity to work locally and remotely on IT challenges. The Hy-Vee IT team is looking to expand its capabilities in software development and delivery with roles such as Agile and full stack and data analysts based out of Bangalore. HST Global will serve the entire IT organization across roles and functions. Responsibilities - Maintains base system image testing and deployment using MECM and Workspace One. - Encourages automation by leveraging PowerShell and/or other scripting languages. - Maintains MDM platforms using Workspace One, JAMF, and Intune. - On-going vulnerability operational support including operating systems releases, upgrades, service pack installations, security updates, and any system change activities. - Creates and maintains technical documentation stored within the team's knowledge base. - Perform patching, updating, testing, and deploying of system firmware and software. - Performance Tuning on low-risk platform and systems. Qualifications - A degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field from an accredited university and/or 3 to 5 years equivalent work experience is required. Requirements - Experience administrating Microsoft MECM. - Experience administrating MDM platforms such as Workspace One (Air Watch), JAMF, Patch My PC, and Intune. - Experience administrating Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android OS. - Basic understanding of automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or other scripting languages are desired (good to have). - Basic understanding of the network stack. - Basic understanding of monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Splunk. - Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. - Managing Tickets. - Retail domain is good to have; VMware experience would be ideal. - Experience in skills like DWH, Data Lake, BI reporting, Analytics, and dashboarding. - Proficiency with source control and release technologies (e.g., Git and Azure DevOps) and practices (e.g., CI/CD and automation). - Good soft skills - able to work with business partners to understand the requirements, demonstrate solutions to business partners, gain commitment from business partners on their engagement/deliverables. - Cross-Functional internal team exposure – has worked previously with Product, Design, QA, and Delivery leads. - Can help onboard and provide support to developers as they learn in their careers. - Experience leading Agile/Scrum development teams. - Consulting organization from retail-based projects can be considered.
