Instructor - Business Analysis Location: Remote United States Part-time Position Overview The Part-Time Instructor for Business Analysis & Data Analytics plays a key role in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences to adult learners enrolled in our online programs. Instructors facilitate curriculum content, support student learning, and connect business analysis concepts with real-world data, automation, and AI-driven business applications. This role involves teaching live online sessions, mentoring learners, providing feedback, and contributing to a collaborative instructional environment. Maintain regular communication with students regarding progress, expectations, and milestones. Respond to student and staff communications in a timely and professional manner. Performance Monitoring Evaluate student progress based on course deliverables and established grading rubrics. Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and engagement. Identify and escalate academic or learner performance concerns to the Lead Instructor or appropriate staff. Support learner improvement plans and project readiness initiatives when necessary. Collaboration & Professional Conduct Adhere to institutional policies and instructional team standards. Foster an inclusive, respectful, and professional learning environment. Serve as a role model and mentor for learners pursuing Business Analysis and Data Analytics careers. Collaborate with instructional staff and program teams to improve the learner experience and program outcomes. Represent the organization professionally when interacting with students, staff, and external stakeholders. Work Schedule Part-Time instructors typically work 10–15 hours per week depending on cohort schedules. The total weekly part-time commitment is expected to be 8–12 hours. Weekday - 06:30 PM CST - 09:30 PM CST (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) Weekend - 09:00 AM CST - 12:00 PM CST (Saturday and Sunday) Flexibility for evening availability is required. Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $55 – $60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is classified as Part-Time, Non-Exempt, and employees will be compensated for all hours worked in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.

• Supports business, policy, and technical execution across one or more functional domains within MMIS Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and/or the Medicaid Pharmacy environment. • The Business Analyst works closely with the Domain Lead, Technical Analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness. • Ensures compliance alignment by validating that solution design and configuration conform to CMS guidance, state policy, and documented business rules. • Supports the EL with in-scope negotiations and change control, providing domain expertise to assess scope trade-offs and the functional, regulatory, and operational impacts of change requests. • Lead and participate in collaborative requirements and design sessions with clients and internal teams to validate functional and technical needs.

• Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas • Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support • Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact • Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project • Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals • Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results • Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of work

• Support program administration and operational activities associated with VA-affiliated nonprofit corporations. • Coordinate communications and information requests among NPPO staff, nonprofit corporations, and other stakeholders. • Maintain tracking systems, action item logs, compliance records, and program documentation. • Assist with monitoring compliance-related activities, reporting requirements, audit follow-up activities, and corrective action tracking. • Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and stakeholders. • Support nonprofit governance, oversight, compliance monitoring, and program evaluation activities. • Analyze program data and identify trends, issues, or opportunities for process improvement. • Coordinate meetings, document meeting outcomes, and track follow-up activities. • Assist with policy implementation, procedural updates, and stakeholder communications. • Support special projects and operational initiatives, as assigned.
