• Manage the day-to-day operations for general ledger accounting areas. • Liase and assist AR, Billing, AP and Finance with various inquiries. • Review monthly close entries prepared by staff (Prepaid, Fixed Assets, accruals, deferred rent, AMEX entries, etc.) • Oversee accounting staff to ensure a timely close and reporting deadlines. • Review balance sheet account reconciliations as well as prepare general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accuracy within the GL account. • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. • Prepare/review Audit schedules as assigned and conduct audit research and answer questions. • Assist with preparing year-end tax schedules. • Oversee intercompany reconciliation process. • Support month-end ancillary package and hyperion trial balance uploads. • Serves as a back-up for various areas within the Shared Service Department. • Assist with Ad hoc requests as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software preferred (SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy, etc).
- Strong technical accounting skills (knowledge of GAAP, FASB and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements) and proficiency with researching accounting literature.
- Must be able to reconcile accounts and be able to perform GL analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience with Consolidations and Intercompany eliminations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing an accounting team.
- Advanced Excel skills required (vlookup, sumifs, sumif, pivot tables).
- 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, meet critical deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Highly organized and motivated self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Located in Latam.
- Fluent English level.

Core Responsibilities: - Monthly Finance and Accounting Rhythms: - Lead the monthly general ledger close process, including review of account reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting analysis. - Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements. - Support the analysis of the monthly financial results vs budget / forecast. - Internal Controls: - Maintain and monitor internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. - Maintain cross departmental communication to ensure accurate and reliable data enters accounting systems. - Inventory Accounting: - Implement and maintain sustainable and efficient processes for tracking inventory movement and maintaining inventory costing in coordination with the Fulfillment team. - Annual Financial Statement Audit: - Support the coordination and management of the annual financial statement audit, including acting as a liaison for external auditors, and preparing necessary schedules and documentation for year-end audits. - Team Leadership: - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to ensure productivity, efficiency, thoroughness, and accuracy. - Process Improvement: - Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and implement procedures to increase efficiencies. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Role Description The Move-Out Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a seamless and compliant resident move-out process, with a strong emphasis on timely and accurate reconciliation of security deposits in accordance with local and state regulations. This role plays a vital part in delivering a positive resident experience at the end of their lease term, while protecting the interests of the property owner. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and comfortable reviewing and comparing multiple inspection reports, invoices, and documentation to ensure accuracy in resident billing. This is a resident-facing role that also requires frequent cross-functional collaboration with internal teams.
