We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on newly awarded Sydney Water project. This role is initially based in Alexandria and transitioning to Fairfield once project begins. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for: Foster effective collaboration and communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals Oversee, supervise and co-ordinate technical aspects of project Implement site safety standards and monitor throughout the construction duration Monitor project budgets - Initiating and executing work to minimise cost, ensuring they are in line with the forecasted costs to complete Monitoring and reporting on project progress through weekly look aheads and monthly project schedule updates Leading, overseeing and maintaining project quality documentation Leading a team of site and project engineers Procurement of electrical equipments Managing commissioning activities for the project How you'll connect to the role: Degree level qualification in Engineering (Electrical)

Job Requirements

  • Preferably hands on experience in Water utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and/or Networks, and associated Mechanical and Civil infrastructure
  • Preferably experience in delivering large brownfield projects in water or utilities (power/gas) sector.
  • Knowledge of Safety, project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
