Senior Data Analyst

• Perform deep data analysis across large, complex datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights • Develop advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation • Analyze and validate data outputs across systems and reports to ensure accuracy • Partner with data engineering teams to understand data structures and pipeline logic • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies using root cause analysis • Build and support analytical datasets and reporting layers for downstream consumption • Perform detailed analysis on large datasets to identify trends and business patterns • Conduct root cause analysis on data inconsistencies and reporting issues • Work across multiple data sources to reconcile and validate information • Develop reusable queries and analysis frameworks • Support complex ad-hoc analytics and troubleshooting requests • Design and execute data validation checks (row counts, aggregates, reconciliation) • Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems • Validate business logic and transformation outputs • Identify data anomalies and document findings • Work with upstream and downstream teams to resolve data issues • Maintain data definitions, business rules, and metric consistency • Support data lineage understanding across datasets • Contribute to data governance standards and documentation • Ensure data is audit-ready and aligned with compliance requirements • Promote consistency in metric definitions and reporting logic

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in data analysis, analytics, or related roles
  • Strong experience working with enterprise data environments
  • Proven track record in data validation, troubleshooting, and analysis
  • Experience working with technical teams (data engineering, platform teams)
  • Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, complex aggregations)
  • Experience working with large datasets in platforms like Databricks, Synapse, or Snowflake
  • Strong understanding of data structures, schemas, and transformations
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and how data flows across systems
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
