WESTERN TITLE DIVISION Job Description: As an Escrow Assistant at Old Republic Title, you will play a vital role in the seamless execution of real estate transactions, ensuring that every step is meticulously managed with precision and care. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of opening, processing, and closing refinance and sale transactions under the guidance of experienced professionals. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with lenders, principals, realtors, co-workers, and other department personnel, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned throughout the process. *This is an office-based position from 8am to 5pm on a daily basis. Remote applicants will not be considered. In this position, you will take charge of reviewing and verifying information in preliminary reports and title commitments, while also clearing title requirements by researching discrepancies and securing lien releases. You'll be tasked with pulling tax rolls, assembling signing documents, and scheduling appointments both inside and outside the office. Your attention to detail will be critical as you upload documents into our electronic filing system, document all conversations related to each file, and prepare funding packages with accuracy and efficiency.
