Role Description This role is for one of our clients. In this position, you will utilize your expertise to assist in training the next generation of AI systems. Your contributions will influence how models learn, reason, and function by providing high-quality, real-world data. No previous experience in AI is necessary — your specialized knowledge is what counts. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze realistic financial planning scenarios that mirror typical client discussions, including budgets, emergency funds, debt repayment, retirement planning, and more. - Assess AI-generated recommendations for their appropriateness, clarity, and practical application for mainstream and mass-affluent households. - Explain how you would lead advisory conversations—covering question frameworks, setting goal priorities, and discussing trade-offs (e.g., mortgage payments versus 401(k) matching, debt repayment versus investing). - Communicate actionable decision-making guidelines and common rules of thumb used with real clients (such as cash reserve goals or savings rate targets). - Provide written feedback aimed at improving AI-generated explanations, suggested next steps, and trade-off presentations—emphasizing clear and empathetic language for non-expert audiences. - Identify compliance and risk factors, advising when to remain within scope or refer clients to specialists such as CPAs, attorneys, or insurance professionals. Qualifications - Several years of direct client experience as a Financial Planner/Advisor, Personal Financial Consultant, or in a similar role serving mainstream households (with typical W-2 income, employer-sponsored retirement plans, common debts, and insurance needs). - Proven expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, debt reduction, retirement planning, education savings, and risk management for everyday clients. - CFP® certification is highly preferred (or passed CFP exam with relevant experience); however, ChFC or other credentials may be considered if accompanied by substantial practical experience. - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of explaining trade-offs in straightforward and reassuring terms. - Strong professional ethics, a solid compliance mindset, and dedication to fiduciary and client-first principles. - Practical experience with standardized planning processes and a proactive approach to solving financial challenges.
