• Lead all Medicaid billing processes (network and out-of-network) across our multi-state operations. • Manage and optimize performance of our third-party billing vendor handling out-of-network claims. • Track and improve key revenue cycle metrics including days in A/R, denial rates, collection ratios, and first-pass claim acceptance. • Collaborate with clinical, medical, and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely charge entry, and proper coding. • Leverage our EMR and RCM platforms (experience with Kipu and/or Collaborate MD strongly preferred). • Manage claim submissions, follow-up, appeals, payer relations, and reimbursement optimization with a primary focus on Medicaid. • Develop billing workflows, policies, and internal controls to support scalability as the organization grows. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to internal billing staff while maintaining strong coordination with external partners. • Monitor regulatory changes, payer policies, and industry updates affecting behavioral health billing. • Deliver regular performance reports and revenue forecasts to senior leadership.

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts • Review previous data for each debt or bill • Call and email accounts payable contacts, administrators, and others as needed to ask about their overdue payments and upcoming dues • Identify the root cause of non-payment • Resolve billing concerns • Report on collections update and accounts receivable status • Communicate with the sales department to maintain accurate and updated information on client contract and other information • Maintain a logs of calls and record any payment updates from the customer • Receive new workplace assignments to start contacting the customer to set the relationship up for success, including simply introducing yourself and collect the right information • Identify critical accounts and endorse them to managers as needed for proper escalatory measures • Build relationships with the workplaces (properly set expectations about our billing policy, explain NET & Dispute Terms, etc.) • Build out SMART action plans for delinquent accounts • Aim to have a 95% collection rate on a quarterly basis

• Identifies and marks log /track sheets of hospital admittance, outpatient services, direct admits. • Submits billing information, counts records to ensure reconciliation with the Anesthesia Dept. log, and submit patient billing. • Answer phone calls and handle inquiries. • Collects previous day’s patient charts, sorting in date and time order. • Reconciles missing or suspended list with required lag time. • Collects critical care charges of procedures, such as procedures performed in hospital and obtains/pulls charts, demographic, and insurance information. • Maintains copy of billing information. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned

• Oversee all Ensemble Health Partners Billing associates • Monitor associates time and attendance, productivity, QA reviews, daily assigned workflows • Ensure associate education is provided, complete annual evaluations • Monitor all associates supporting paper biller and electronic biller functions for accuracy • Empower staff to develop methods of process improvement
