Role Description Performs data entry, calculating, posting and verifying figures related to the payment of vendor invoices. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. - Maintains invoice, purchase order, and receiver reconciliations. - Matches invoices with receivers and compares to purchase orders within SAP and OpenText. - Processes invoices for payment by entering data in the computer, checking for mathematical accuracy, taxes that may apply, taking advantage of applicable discounts and scheduling payment in accordance with the purchase order terms. - Answers vendor, employee or buyer inquiries, as necessary. - Contacts personnel in Purchasing Departments to obtain necessary information to correct discrepancies. - Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System. - Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. - Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations. - Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures. - Other duties as requested. Qualifications - Two year degree, or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years of accounting clerical experience. - Must have experience working with computers. - Must have ability to communicate clearly in English. - College level accounting courses desirable. - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. - Able to prioritize and complete tasks and work under deadlines with high volumes. - Ability to work for extended periods on a personal computer. Role Description We are looking for a dedicated Senior Database Administrator to support a growing team managing diverse data environments. The ideal candidate will help maintain, optimize, and support multiple database systems across the organization, ensuring reliability, performance, compliance, and scalability as the platform continues to expand. As the database operations mature and key improvements are implemented, this role will evolve to include ownership of our observability strategy with a particular focus on monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility. • Assist in managing AWS RDS instances by monitoring database health, identifying performance issues, and participating in root-cause investigations • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 database availability and rapid response to production incidents across our global infrastructure • Execute quarterly patching, monthly index reviews, and backup integrity testing within a live production environment • Advance your T-SQL knowledge by participating in code reviews and assisting Developer and TechOps teams with query optimization and execution • Utilize Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages to build or maintain automation tools (e.g., AWS Lambdas, GitHub Action workflows, etc.) • Manage user permissions, SOPs, and disaster recovery runbooks while helping ensure regulatory framework compliance (including HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2) across all database systems
