Python DevOps Engineer

Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Python DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud-native application development, DevOps automation, and AWS infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in: - Python - FastAPI - Kubernetes - AWS EKS - PostgreSQL - Snowflake - CI/CD automation Experience within healthcare or insurance environments is a plus. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and FastAPI. - Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes. - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and AWS EKS. - Configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and services. - Manage database integrations with PostgreSQL and Snowflake. - Create deployment scripts, build automation, and infrastructure configurations. - Support continuous testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production deployments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. - Work with analytical and reporting tools including SPSS, SAS, and R. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, application development, or cloud engineering roles. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments. - Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and automation. - Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments. Required Skills - Python - FastAPI - AWS (including AWS EKS) - Kubernetes - PostgreSQL - Snowflake - DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines - Shell scripting and infrastructure automation - SPSS, SAS, and R - SDLC and software engineering best practices Nice to Have - Healthcare industry experience - Insurance domain experience Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred. - Equivalent experience will also be considered.
