Telecom Channel Development Manager

Role Description The Channel Development Manager (CDM) is responsible for managing and expanding relationships within an assigned portfolio of AppDirect advisors, with a focus on driving revenue growth and enhancing advisor satisfaction. This role combines proactive support with strategic sales enablement to foster long-term loyalty and sales growth. Key responsibilities include: - Quoting, serviceability checks, and deal registrations - Promoting SPIFFs and other sales incentives - Educating advisors on AppDirect's full suite of technology solutions to increase awareness and drive multi-category funnel growth (*) This is not a leadership position, it's an individual contributor role. What you'll do and how you'll have an impact - Respond to advisor serviceability and quoting inquiries with speed and accuracy, ensuring the proper providers and products are shown based on the advisors' needs - Partner with assigned advisor base to promote SPIFFs, sales incentives, and drive awareness of AppDirect’s complete ecosystem of solutions and providers - Coordinate the involvement of AppDirect personnel, including sales leadership, engineering, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet advisor performance expectations - Generate new business opportunities by providing product recommendations for upsell - Develop long-term relationships with advisors, promoting loyalty and trust in AppDirect - Monitor advisor KPIs & trends to promote other solutions such as Managed services, Energy, AI, Hardware, SaaS, IT Cloud, Sales Desk-as-a-Service, BuiltFirst Marketplace and more - Promote AppDirect events, webinars, and general news - Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic revenue objectives - Know and understand the different portfolio solutions AppDirect provides Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a business related field preferred - 2+ years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment - 2+ years of experience working with the telecommunications industry, specifically with a variety of telecom providers (AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Spectrum, Lumen, etc.) - Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of your daily workload and deliver results in a remote work environment - Advanced knowledge of industry software and hardware terminology and concepts - Outstanding collaboration and communication skills - Strong customer-facing, presentation, and negotiation skills - Ability to effectively position and contrast competitive solutions to the customer - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment - Familiarity with Google G-suite, HubSpot CRM or Salesforce, and various business software applications Company Description At AppDirect, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment that houses diversity of excellence, experience, and thought.
