Mactores

• Build non-production SAP HANA environments on AWS. • Install SAP HANA, apply patches, configure system parameters, and tune each environment. • Set up backup, recovery, and basic high availability for non-production systems. • Manage transports, user administration, and role provisioning across the SAP system landscape. • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and configuration issues across SAP and HANA. • Document build steps and runbooks for engineering teams. • Coordinate with US-based engineering leads during PST hours.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years as an SAP Basis Administrator with hands-on SAP HANA experience.
  • Track record in building and operating non-production SAP landscapes end-to-end.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, including EC2, EBS, VPC, and IAM.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Willing and able to work PST business hours from India.
  • Preferred if you have installed or migrated SAP HANA on AWS specifically, not only on-prem.
  • Preferred if you have worked on S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or HANA-based analytics workloads.
  • Preferred if you hold an SAP HANA Technology Associate certification or an AWS certification (SAA, SysOps).
  • Preferred if you have scripted Basis tasks in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
