• Oversee invoice processing and payment • Manage vendor relations and keep an up-to-date vendor database • Responsible for relevant AP reporting • Posting real estate agent credits and billings • Processing AP and AR transactions • Onboarding and terminating Advisors • Basic Accounting-related Reporting • Assisting with month-end closing needs • Engage in special projects, like year-end closings or general admin tasks

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Maintain compliance with internal policies, US GAAP / IFRS, and statutory requirements in all reporting activities • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis and support preparation of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders • Manage the consolidation of multiple legal entities, including foreign subsidiaries; ensuring proper translation, elimination, and consolidation entries are recorded accurately • Support income tax compliance process in partnership with external tax advisors • Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation and testing of accounting policies, procedures, and control activities • Partner with external auditors to support audit requirements and remediation efforts • Manage assigned general ledger activities, including accruals, prepaids, intercompany, and complex transactions • Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for complex areas such as capitalization, compensation, or provisions and provide clear, concise summaries to management when presenting findings • Assist with balance sheet reviews and provide clear explanations for fluctuations • Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and research complex issues • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency through automation, standardization, and documentation updates • Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives • Research accounting issues and support the application of relevant standards • Assist with various other projects/ department tasks as needed during the growth and evolution of the Company

• Support Mercy For Animals’ accounting and finance operations via general ledger and month-end close accounting support • Manage and process accounts payable (including working with predominantly english speaking vendors), accounts receivable, and team member expenses using our existing financial platforms • Support the Finance team with recurring account reconciliations and analyses • Serve as the first point of contact for Finance-related team member questions and third-party requests including managing internal Finance intranet pages and the Finance inbox • Record journal entries and complete balance sheet account reconciliations to support month-end close • Explain fluctuations in account activity • Support internal controls and process improvement to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with financial policies • Follow all organizational policies and procedures • Perform any other duties assigned

• Execute month-end close tasks including journal entries, accruals, prepaid amortization, and account adjustments • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across assigned accounts • Support year-end close activities and ensure documentation is audit-ready • Communicate close status and open items to the Controller • Prepare supporting schedules and workpapers for financial statement review • Ensure accounting entries comply with GAAP and company accounting policies • Apply core accounting concepts including revenue recognition, accruals, and intercompany eliminations accurately • Maintain reconciliations for general ledger accounts across multiple entities • Identify and resolve variances in a timely manner • Follow established internal control procedures for all accounting activities
