Occupational Therapist – Telehealth

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to determine client suitability for telehealth and VR-supported services • Delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions aligned with client goals • Supporting children and adolescents with functional skills, emotional regulation, confidence, social participation, independence and wellbeing • Working with neurodiverse clients and their families in a person-centred, strengths-based way • Monitoring and documenting client progress in line with professional and clinical standards • Preparing assessment reports, progress reports and summaries for families, referrers and other stakeholders • Collaborating with families, carers and other professionals to support meaningful outcomes • Maintaining professional registration and practice standards in line with AHPRA requirements

Job Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • A minimum of three years’ clinical experience
  • Experience or strong interest in paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children, adolescents and neurodiverse clients
  • An understanding of the NDIS framework and goal-based therapy approaches
  • A Medicare Provider Number, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain these
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A suitable work-from-home setup, including high-speed internet and access to a computer, laptop or tablet
  • An interest in emerging technology and the role of VR in Occupational Therapy practice
